The new Coastal Community Team (CCT) for the Leigh-on-Sea area is a partnership of a number of local organisations and groups including Leigh-on-Sea Town Council, Leigh Port Partnership, Southend Borough Council, Leigh Society and local fishermen and businesses.

Coastal Community Teams is a national Government initiative that is intended to encourage a greater level of partnership working, support the development of local solutions to economic issues, and encourage the sustainable use of heritage and cultural assets in the area.

It is important to find out what local people and businesses think about Leigh, particularly the cultural and heritage offer, the facilities and seafront experience and other issues such as transport and public spaces.

If you would like more information about the Coastal Community Team for Leigh-on-Sea you can contact or Leigh Town Council.

These short surveys (one for residents and one for businesses) are an opportunity for you to give your views and ideas to help us in putting together an economic plan for Leigh-on-Sea.
