Artist in Residence 2023 - 2025 - Judith Lyall and Dorisarty

It was so difficult to pick just one artist from the applications received for 2023/24 that Leigh-on-Sea Town Council’s Art Group offered a joint residency to two artist groups for two years and we are delighted that they accepted.

Dorisarty is a collective of two local women, Claire Burgoyne and Anne Pettenuzzo who have exhibited together over the last few years.  They have some great ideas for involving the community in various projects.  Look out for the Art Discussion evenings at Leigh Community Centre from May 2023.

Judith Lyall is a porcelain painter with such passion for her art.  Her primary goal is to share her knowledge and foster the re-growth of this beautiful art form.  Join in the fun of painting on porcelain by joining her small beginner's class in the cafe at Leigh Community Centre.

Further details of projects, promotions, events and classes can be found on our social media pages or community engagement app.
