Councillor Vivien Rosier
Profile:
My
family moved to Leigh-on-Sea from West Ham in 1955 when I was a
6 week old baby. Apart from 4 years away from home when training
to be a teacher, and a brief spell living in Sydney, Australia,
I have lived in Leigh-on-Sea all my life. I attended Chalkwell
Hall School and Westcliff High School for Girls.
I have a daughter, a brother and other family members also
living in Leigh. I became a Councillor in 2015 and am finding
the role very interesting.
My career has been in education and I have a particular
interest in Special Educational Needs.
My hobbies include reading, yoga and walking along our wonderful
seafront. I have recently joined the U3A and am making the most
of the groups running at Leigh Community Centre.
