There is currently a vacancy on Leigh-on-Sea Town Council for the Highlands Ward and as the time limit has passed for electors in that ward to call an election, the vacancy will now be filled by co-option at a Council meeting.
Any person over 18 who is a citizen of the UK, the EU or the Commonwealth can be a Councillor if they are an elector in, work in, live in or live within 3 miles of the Town Council boundary.
Anyone who is interested is invited to apply, in writing, to the Town Clerk, Leigh-on-Sea Town Council, 71-73 Elm Road, SS9 1SP. In the application, please identify any particular interests, qualifications or relevant experience.
