Join us to help our community…

We are pairing volunteers with those who need help in a safe and well-organised way, using the expertise of our charity and voluntary sector.

Who are we?

Southend Coronavirus Action is a collaboration between Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Public Health Southend, local charities and SAVS, SECH ( and local Facebook group owners, to provide three main services during the Covid-19 outbreak.

What are we doing?

• Providing accurate and reliable information

• Informing you about what you can do to protect yourself and others

• Assisting those vulnerable people in our community who may need help when self-isolating, or otherwise, throughout this outbreak.

How to help?

For individual volunteers:

How to get involved? Please fill in this volunteer form and we will be in touch as soon as we can, when there is someone who needs help near you.

For businesses:

How to get involved? Please head over to our business form if you might be able to help as a local business. Many thanks.

We need as many people as possible to register as volunteers, if they are able to.

Please therefore share this page with your friends and family. Let’s do this together!

Thank you to everyone who gets involved.

This was inspired by our friends at Essex County Council, who are running a service to help vulnerable people across Essex.
