Councillor Dr. Anne Robinson

Profile:

I was born in Dublin and trained as a doctor at Trinity College Dublin.  After obtaining  a higher degree in Medicine, I specialised in Oncology and moved to England. Subsequently I was appointed as Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Southend NHS Trust and moved to Leigh on Sea. I was so fortunate to work in a very friendly hospital and to live in Leigh .

Now retired, I enjoy spending time with my Godchildren and also volunteer at Rainbows and Brownies. My church is very important to me, am a pastoral visitor and used to be a street pastor. I am CAP trained. Living in Leigh I have a wonderful choice of walks,  and yet have the Palace Theatre ,the Cliff Pavilion and the Arts society nearby .

I am excited and looking forward to have been the opportunity to serve as a Leigh town councillor.
