Profile:

After moving here from Cornwall and getting married to a local lady, I lived first in Westcliff and then, as now, in Leigh Cliff Road since 2010,

While in Cornwall, I worked for BT at Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station for many years before taking early retirement. I then qualified and worked as a Financial Adviser covering Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, before starting more local work with Cornwall County Council Social Services prior to my final retirement.

I am a fairly practical diy person who enjoys such things as gardening, small electrical and plumbing work etc. I also occasionally help a friend with his landscaping work. My current hobby is renovating and repairing old Revox A77, reel-to-reel tape recorders.

I look forward to working with my Conservative Leigh Ward colleague Jonathan Garston and all other like minded people, who know how lucky we are to be in Leigh-on-Sea and wish to make it an even better place to live.
