Spatial Plan

Leigh-on-Sea Town Council were delighted to work in partnership with North Thames FLAG as it was hoped that this document would prove useful to Southend-on-Sea City Council in preparation of the emerging Local Plan as well as being a live tool for local stakeholders to progress and take forward.  Internally, Leigh-on-Sea Town Council will be discussing the report in great depth in the coming months with a view as to how it can be delivered over time.

The Spatial Plan was part funded through the Marine Management Organisation and we now have a coherent evidence base for such an important area within the City in many aspects.  

We are therefore pleased to received confirmation from Southend-on-Sea City Council that they will certainly pay due regard as they continue to develop the Local Plan for Southend-on-Sea.
