Profile

I have lived in Leigh-on-Sea since 1961 and was educated at Westleigh School and then Westcliff High School for Girls. I have adult children and grandchildren, all living locally, so I am an involved grandmother. I worked for 40 years as a social Housing Manager,  both in local government and housing associations. Since retirement in 2024, I have used my skills and M.A. specialism, to be a trustee of an Essex Domestic Abuse charity and a lay member of Southend City Safeguarding Board. I wish to thank the residents of St. Clements ward for giving me the opportunity to serve the community and represent them independently on Leigh Town Council.
