I have lived in Leigh-on-Sea for over 20 years with my husband.
My previous council experience has been nearly 18 years serving on Southend Borough Council at varying roles, from cabinet member to deputy mayor, before leaving the council in 2021.
I am a volunteer in an environment group, St Laurence and Eastwood Action Group, so I am hands on in finding and reporting flytipping or other wrong public realm issues.
Previous public voluntary posts have included being a magistrate on the East London Bench, fascinating but intense.
I look forward to serving the Leigh community and especially the Elms Ward.
