The Herd are ready to stomp into Leigh-on-Sea this Summer.

Leigh-on-Sea Town Council is delighted to be a sponsor of Herd in the City this year and help bring the elephant trail to the Leigh community. We appreciate the enormous standing Havens Hospice has amongst our residents and the Council is delighted to be supporting and being a part of the Herd in the City trail, bringing the gentle giants to various places in Leigh this summer. Make sure that you download our Community engagement app and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates. It will be a summer of unforgettable family fun.

The Herd in the City has brought together artists, businesses and schools in their fun and free trail. 

Each Gentle Giant is designed by an artist and sponsored by a business. The mini-herd of baby elephnats are designed by local schools and community groups, helping people of all ages and backgrounds enjoy art.

We are happy to have our 'Summer Meadow' elephant designed by local artist Michelle Sutton. If you wish to see more of her art, please follow her on her Social Media platforms
